Website Redesign

Modernize your site without starting over

A redesign should keep what's working: your rankings, your content, your brand, and fix what isn't. We're careful about the difference.

What's included

A rebuild that protects what you've already earned

The riskiest thing about a redesign is throwing away things that were quietly working. Search rankings built over years. URLs other sites link to. Copy that converts better than anyone realized.

We start by working out what's actually performing, keep it deliberately, and rebuild everything around it.

Audit before design

What performs, what doesn't, and what's quietly load-bearing.

Content migration

Reviewed and improved, not bulk-copied across.

URL mapping & redirects

So existing links and rankings survive the move.

Modern responsive rebuild

Properly designed for phones, not squeezed onto them.

Performance & accessibility

Often the biggest measurable gain in a redesign.

Staged launch

With a rollback plan, because go-live day should be boring.

Our approach

Keep, or replace?

Every redesign is a series of these decisions. Getting them right is most of the job.

What we work hard to keep

  • URLs that already rank, or redirects that preserve them.
  • Page copy that's demonstrably converting.
  • Brand assets your customers already recognize.
  • Integrations your team depends on day to day.
  • Anything analytics show is doing real work.

What usually gets replaced

  • Layouts that were never designed for mobile.
  • Plugin stacks nobody can account for any more.
  • Navigation that grew by accretion rather than design.
  • Oversized images and render-blocking scripts.
  • Pages that exist only because nobody deleted them.
Process

How a redesign runs

The audit comes first — designing before you know what's working is how rankings get lost.

Phase 01 of 05

Audit

Traffic, rankings, top pages, and technical health. Evidence, not taste.

Decide

We agree explicitly what carries over and what gets rebuilt, before any design work starts.

Design

New structure and visual design, shaped around the pages that bring you business.

Build & map

The rebuild, plus a complete old-URL to new-URL redirect map checked line by line.

Launch & watch

A staged go-live, then we monitor rankings and errors through the weeks that follow.

Who it's for

Signs a redesign is worth it

If two or more of these are true, it is cheaper to rebuild than to keep patching.

It looks dated next to competitors

First impressions decide whether people read on. We modernize without discarding your brand.

It's slow, especially on phones

The single biggest measurable win available — for both visitors and search.

Every change needs a developer

We restructure content so your team can handle routine edits themselves.

Traffic arrives but doesn't convert

Often a structure and clarity problem rather than a traffic problem.

FAQ

Redesign questions

It can, when URLs change without redirects or content is dropped carelessly — that's the most common way redesigns go wrong. We map every existing URL to its replacement and keep the pages that are earning traffic. Some short-term fluctuation while search engines re-crawl is normal; a sustained drop is not, which is why we monitor after launch.

No. We review what's there, keep what works, tighten what nearly works, and rewrite only what needs it. Wholesale rewrites are rarely necessary and occasionally harmful.

Often, yes, and if the platform isn't the problem, changing it just adds risk and cost. We'll only recommend moving when the current setup is genuinely holding you back.

It shouldn't be. We build on staging, rehearse the cutover, and keep a rollback path. Go-live is scheduled for a quiet period for your business.

Mainly the starting point. A redesign begins with an audit of an existing site and a duty to preserve what's working. A new build starts from goals alone. If your current site has little traffic or content worth keeping, a new build is often simpler.
